What "No One Was Watching" Actually Costs You

A commercial refrigeration maintenance contract from Air Duct Cleaning Miami covers scheduled cleaning, inspection, written reports, and priority emergency response for ice machines, walk-in coolers and freezers, and reach-in units across Miami-Dade and Broward. As a licensed Florida HVAC contractor (CAC1817115, EPA Unlimited, BBB A+), we offer the only South Florida plan that also bundles HVAC, duct cleaning, and exhaust fans — one contractor, one invoice. Call (305) 607-3244 for a free quote.

$200–$400/hr

The Emergency Call Rate

After-hours refrigeration calls run $200 to $400 per hour or more — plus parts marked up 40 to 60 percent because the tech pulled them from a supply house at 9 PM with a rush fee.

$8K–$15K

The Spoilage Loss

A walk-in that creeps to 50 degrees overnight can wipe out $8,000 to $15,000 in food inventory by morning. Insurance may cover it. Your next renewal after a claim will not thank you.

Posted Closure

The Health Violation

Inspectors score ice machine mold, slime, and scale as food safety violations — a posted closure notice, a 24-hour correction window, and a re-inspection fee. Repeat citations flag you for more frequent inspections.

$12,000

The Replacement Spiral

Unmaintained equipment lasts 8 to 12 years. Well-maintained equipment runs 15 to 20. The difference between a Hoshizaki replacement at year 10 versus year 18 is real money you keep.

Three Maintenance Plan Tiers

Every tier includes priority emergency response, written inspection reports after every visit, and documentation you can show a health inspector. Both counties covered.

Essential
Annual Coverage
Best for lower-volume restaurants, bars, and cafes running one or two units with minimal production hours.
  • One scheduled visit per year, per unit
  • Full ice machine cleaning & sanitizing (bin, water system, condenser, evaporator)
  • Walk-in cooler & freezer inspection (refrigerant, gaskets, coils, thermostat, drain pan)
  • Reach-in unit inspection — same checklist
  • Written service report after each visit
  • Priority scheduling — within 48 hours
  • Covers Miami-Dade & Broward
Premium
Quarterly Coverage
Best for high-volume restaurants, hotels, hospitals, and any property where downtime hits revenue or compliance.
  • Everything in Standard, plus:
  • Four scheduled visits per year, per unit (every 90 days)
  • Same-day emergency priority — 4-hour callback target
  • Parts sourcing at no markup over supply cost
  • HVAC + duct cleaning bundle option — one agreement, one invoice
  • Annual health-inspection compliance documentation package
Restaurant owner with one licensed contractor covering refrigeration, HVAC, duct, and exhaust in Miami

One License. The Whole Kitchen.

We are a licensed Florida HVAC contractor under FL CAC1817115. That license covers air conditioning, heating, ventilation, and commercial refrigeration. We also clean restaurant ducts and exhaust fans as a core service. That makes us the only contractor in South Florida who can legitimately offer a single agreement covering:

  • Commercial refrigeration maintenance & repair (ice machines, walk-ins, reach-ins)
  • HVAC maintenance (AC tune-ups, filter service, coil cleaning)
  • Restaurant duct cleaning
  • Kitchen exhaust fan & hood cleaning

Your other vendors are specialized — they show up for their one thing and leave. We cover the whole commercial kitchen environment. If you are currently paying three vendors to service your kitchen, call us — we will likely save you money and consolidate your calendar. See the full equipment lineup on our commercial refrigeration services in Miami and Broward page.

Ready to Stop Paying Emergency Rates?

Our Essential Plan starts with one maintenance visit per unit per year. Our Premium Plan adds same-day response priority and quarterly visits. Both are cheaper than one emergency call.

The Difference You Can Verify

We have heard every version of the same complaint: the refrigeration company showed up three hours late, did not have the part, charged a diagnostic fee, and left. Here is what you get instead.

Licensed — CAC1817115

A Class A HVAC contractor license that explicitly covers commercial refrigeration under Florida statute. Publicly verifiable at myfloridalicense.com. Not a handyman operation.

EPA Unlimited Certified

Handling R-404A, R-448A, R-290, and all commercial refrigerants requires EPA Section 608 certification. Our techs hold the highest tier — all refrigerant types, all equipment categories.

BBB A+ Rated

Independently verified. It matters when you are inviting a contractor into your kitchen night after night.

20 Years Refrigeration Experience

Not HVAC crossover people who occasionally touch a reach-in. Two decades on ice machines, walk-ins, blast chillers, reach-ins, and display cases.

1,000+ Properties Served

We know the terrain — coastal salt air corroding condensers in Miami Beach and Hollywood, humidity pushing ice machine mold cycles into overdrive, older infrastructure in Hialeah and Little Havana.

Both Counties, One Service Area

Many refrigeration companies are Miami-only or Broward-only. We cover both — which matters for multi-location groups and property managers across county lines.

Maintenance Contracts Across Both Counties

We have contract customers throughout Miami-Dade and Broward. One agreement covers both.

Maintenance Contract Questions

What types of commercial refrigeration do you service under the contract?+
We service ice machines (modular ice heads, undercounter units, combination ice and water dispensers), walk-in coolers, walk-in freezers, reach-in coolers and freezers, under-counter refrigerators, prep table coolers, and refrigerated display cases. If you have a unit type not listed, call us at (305) 607-3244 and we will confirm coverage before you sign.
I already have someone for HVAC. Do I need to switch my whole account?+
No. You can sign a refrigeration-only contract and keep your existing HVAC vendor. We do recommend pricing out the bundled agreement though — most restaurant owners who run the comparison switch within the first year simply because the administrative consolidation saves real time and the bundled rate beats the separate vendor total.
How do I know your techs are qualified for commercial refrigeration specifically?+
Our technicians hold EPA Unlimited Section 608 certification, which covers all commercial refrigerant types. The work is covered under FL CAC1817115, a Class A contractor license that explicitly covers refrigeration equipment under Florida statute. You can verify the license on Florida's DBPR contractor search at myfloridalicense.com.
What is the contract term? Can I cancel?+
Our standard agreement is 12 months. We do not do auto-renewing surprise renewals. At 90 days before your renewal date, we send a written summary of all service visits completed, any open items, and your renewal options. If you want to cancel at renewal, you do that in writing at least 30 days before. No penalty.
Does the contract cover parts?+
Standard and Essential plans cover labor for covered maintenance visits. Parts are billed at cost plus a flat sourcing fee (no percentage markup). Premium plan customers get parts sourced at no additional markup above our actual supply cost. Emergency repair labor outside of scheduled maintenance is billed at our standard rate for all tiers, but contract customers get priority scheduling and transparent diagnostics before any work begins.
Do you cover restaurants in both Miami-Dade and Broward?+
Yes. Our service area covers all of Miami-Dade and Broward County. We have customers in Coral Gables, Downtown Miami, Miami Beach, Hialeah, Doral, Hollywood, Fort Lauderdale, Pompano Beach, Pembroke Pines, and Coral Springs, among others.

Your Walk-In Cooler Will Not Wait for a Convenient Breakdown

Most refrigeration failures are preventable. One maintenance visit catches the refrigerant leak, the failing gasket, and the condenser buildup before they turn into a 2 AM emergency call and a $10,000 inventory loss. Get on a plan today.
